RU Concerned?
To the legacy of William Jefferson Clinton, which already includes impeachment and sexual scandal, add “RU-486.” In 1989, the Bush administration banned the “morning-after” abortion pill from the US a year after it became available in France. In 1993, Clinton’s first year in office, he began a campaign to bring the pill to this country. On September 28, 2000, the FDA gave final approval for the drug, and it will start showing up in prescriptions soon.

Don’t be fooled by propaganda that this is just another form of birth control. It is a pill, taken within the first seven weeks of pregnancy at the doctor’s office, that causes the embryo to detach from the uterus lining. Two days later, another pill is taken that causes the contractions necessary to expel the embryo. It’s abortion by prescription.

Liberals have opposed bills banning partial birth abortion on the basis that the bills have not included an exception for the mother’s life (not true). Yet, they are lauding the approval of this drug which can endanger a woman’s health (hypocrisy).

Never underestimate the “religious” fervor of abortion rights advocates. They will do all they can to encourage what they call “a woman’s right to choose.” Pro-choice equals no-choice for the child.
