| Floyd Thompson's advice to
younger preachers ("Book, Chapter & Verse..."): * "Never play politics with the brotherhood. Don't line up with any paper, college, preacher clique, etc. The problem is if you do, every time the whistle blows, the lineup changes." (p. 305) * On one occasion several preachers had given their opinion on what great issue would arise again to challenge the church. Some mentioned the marriage question, some said worldliness.
